ASM+AIX issue

dear team,

this is to summarize the issue for your assessment as well as your valuable help:

i did a new RAC installation on AIX server (6.1 TL 6 sp6) using Oracle grid infrastructure 11gR2 (11.2.0.3) and i'm using the ASM as controller.

when both nodes are running and when i'm creating a tablespace (of whatever activity on the ASM diskgroups) we noticed a "DISK OPERATION ERROR (code DCB47997)" in the system log files (extracted using errpt); no errors mentioned in the alert log files though.

in addition, the tablespace creation is taking too much time just for 60 GB, and the storage charts are not showing a continuous write or I/O activity; it shows a kind of "picks" as if it is writing chunks.

could you please provide me your assessment.
