AS Adapter for Oracle Applications connections in JDeveloper

mdtaylorFeb 27 2008
Hi gurus,

I am trying to figure out how to use the make connections in JDeveloper from the Using Oracle Applications Module Browser referenced in the links below:

Oracle Application Server Adapter for Oracle Applications User's Guide
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10291_01/doc.1013/e05440/toc.htm

I am looking for something similar to the create connections section in JDeveloper found in the SOA Order Booking Quickstart Guide.

2.2.5 Task 5: Create Connections in JDeveloper

SOA Order Booking Quickstart Guide
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/core.1013/b28938.pdf

I have SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 with AIA Foundation Pack 2.0.1 fully installed and working. I would now like to push/pull data between several Oracle Applications databases, but the Connection and Definition Files section at the end of the AS Adapter doc for Oracle Applications seems to only deal with connections on the 10.1.3 SOA suite Application Server.

Modifying Connection and Definition Files
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10291_01/doc.1013/e05440/T430238T430340.htm

I have reviewed the AppsAdapter tutorial readme in $ORACLE_HOME\bpel\samples\tutorials\150.AppsAdapter, but that is only dealing with the SOA Suite Oracle Home.

Thanks.
