Are Enterprise Edition features used

We're looking at the reasons that we install Ent Edition of the Oracle RDBMS everywhere.

Is there an easy way to determine if Enterprise Edition is NEEDED. I do understand that there are things outside of the instance - like Grid Control packs, but is there a way to scan for Ent Edition only functionalities?

I haven't managed to find anything on Metalink other than usign export/import to downgrade.
