Good afternoon,
I've recently noticed that an automated archiver process on one of my instances of WebCenter Content intermittently becomes stuck while transferring a batch file to another instance of WebCenter Content. The instance appears to be in good health while the archiver is stuck. If I open up the archiver applet, the bottom of the applet states that the transfer is in progress in the "upload" stage. I typically give it a couple of minutes before I delete the batch file in the archiver process and recycle the instance so that other files don't queue up behind it.
After recycling, I resubmit the file to go through the archiver and it works fine. This has happened twice in the last week, while hundreds of other transfers worked without issue. I should also mention that the instance in question is an intermediate step between my development and production environments. The transfer in the development environment of the same batch file does not have this issue.
Is this a normal occurrence and I'm just not being patient enough? Both times the issue came up, the batch files were comprised of only one data file, so I don't think size has anything to do with it. I also checked the outgoing provider, which was in good health.
I think my next plan is to turn on "Archiver" logging in the System Audit section of my Content Server next time this happens. I'm just curious if anybody else has seen this or has any ideas.
Thank you for your time.
