Hi
I have a an issue with my Oracle database. Even though there is enough free space available, the Archive logs are automatically deleted.
I have searched through this forum and found that other users had similar issues but related to bug 4911954.
I confirmed that there is no discrepancy between V$FLASH_RECOVERY_AREA_USAGE and V$RECOVERY_FILE_DEST results.
Since these deleted archive logs are within the retention period, I get the RMAN-05019: WARNING: also..
I noticed that once the free space in the hard drive goes below 20%, the files are getting deleted.
