Archive logs after RMAN full database backup

After taking a full database backup through RMAN, I run 'delete obsolete' command.

Now after deleting the obsolete files though retention policy setting is 1
CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO REDUNDANCY 1

But still I see (yesterdays) or sometimes (yesterday and day before yesterdays) archive files doesn't get deleted.

My Database is 10.2.0.2 on 64-bit Windows 2003 Standard Edition.

Experts please guide on this.
