Arabic text in where condition

hi guys,

my database is storing arabic characters, but im not able to retrieve records when i put some arabic characters in the where condition. can you guys please tel me how to get the output when i pass arabic character to the where condtion.

select * from bnk_banks where bankarabicname like '%بنك%'
