arabic letters problem

hi ,

i was trying to install oracle database 10g rel2 on win xp , after installing , and changing the nls_lang in the regedit to arabic_egypt.ar8mswin1256 ,

i can write arabic letters in sqlplus , but when i try to select arabic data from any table i see question marks ?????? ??? " in sqlplus " ,

when i try to select data from isqlplus , i see question marks overturned .

language for non-unicode programs is arabic .

any help ?
