A simple dumb question: what's the difference between subscriber and recipient in a multi consumer queue? And how does a consumer fit into this?
Background: in our application messages are sent to specific recipients. Some of the recipients are also registered as subscribers, others not. Messages are then dequeued for specific consumers.
Apart from having a slight confusion about the terms, I'm wondering, if it's is a problem, that not all consumers are registered as subscribers. Can we remove the subscribers alltogether? Or should we register each and every consumer as a subscriber?
Some enlightenment please! :-)
