Applying Patch in slient mode

Hello Everybody,

I am using oracle 10.2.0.2 on sun solaris. i want to upgrade this database to oracle 10.2.0.4.

could anyone kindly tell me.
How to apply patch in slient mode. and what are the parameter i have edit in response file. i need complete step.
Please suggest me some documents..

if possible tell me how to patch in slient mode in 10g RAC on solaris also.
