Oracle Database Discussions

Hi Everyone,

I was applying patch for Oracle 11g R2 patch set 12838161, but the operation failed with error code 41. Can any one please help me with this?? I checked the log in $ORACLE_HOME\cfgtoollogs\opatch but i wasn't able make out much from there. This is how the log file looks like..

These are the steps that i followed.

1) Shutdown the database
2) Stopped Oracle services
3) set env Oracle_home
4)went to the directory of patchfolder after unzipping it
5) and applied the patch through opatch utility

Oracle DB: 11g R2
OS: Windows 2008 R2 64bit
