Applying hardware raid1 post-installaton without re-installing

1397183Jan 6 2017 — edited Jan 10 2017

Oracle Linux 6.7 is installed on X6-2 on one drive.  Is there a possiblity of making hardware raid1 using a second disk without having to re-install  OS. It appears that creating a Virtual disk at the raid contoller level wil destroy all data requiring re-installation.  How can I keep the OS  using  disk cloning or possibly using a temporary third disk without losing all data.  Otherwise, is there an Oracle procedure to apply software raid1 to root disk on Oracle Linux 6.7, post installation.
