Applying a patch using Opatchauto tp RDBMS home in a Grid environment - both nodes?

TheLonelyDBAFeb 25 2016 — edited Feb 25 2016

GRID 12.1.0.2

Oracle RDBMS 12.1.0.2 - this is patched

Hi,

Im applying a patch using opatchauto on my newly installed ORACLE_HOME, 12.1.0.2 in my GRID infrastructure.

I have question, I used this:

as ROOT

./opatchauto apply /u02/install/patch/22191349 -oh /u02/app2/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1 -ocmrf /u02/app2/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_1/OPatch/ocm/bin/ocm.rsp

But this only patches the RDBMS home on node1.

Is that OK, or shouldnt opatch patch both installations (RDBMS on both node 1 and 2)?

I have have manully applied the patch on node2.

Regards
