Apply Archive Logs After Restoration of Database

Ali Raza MemonMay 1 2016 — edited May 2 2016

Dear Folks,

We are running 11gR2 database on Linux box. Our database is in ARCHIVE LOG mode. We have Level 0 and Level 1 hot backup in place. Due to some requirement, we need to clone our database. At first we moved our backup to target side by the end of the day. We restored CONTROL FILE and restored backup. The backup restored successfully.

The hot backup was made on night. While the all day activities were recorded in ARCHIVE LOGS and we have forget to move those archives. At this point how we can apply those archives to bring our database nearer to the current running environment.

Thank You!

Ali Raza Memon
