Application Server and Firefox Browser

Moving from IE6.0 to Mozilla Firefox

WHen log into http://appserver:8888/forms90/f90servlet
access app server and then stops saying a plugin needs to be downloaded to display page - applet not loaded

Havent found out what plugin is required. have disabled Java in tools in firefox but still same result

Have downloaded jre 5.0, Adobe 7.0 and svg viewer
but still wanting a plugin

Anybody know what plugin firefox is looking for

App server 9.0.2 and forms 9i running fine under IE6 and
jinitiator 1.3
