Application Express 3.0.1 on Windows XP home

149066Feb 28 2008 — edited Mar 12 2008
Hello

I have modified my Windows XP Home OS to have IIS installed from a Windows 2000 CD (the Oracle HTTP Server 10g works fine).

I have Oracle 10g Express Edition installed.

I upgraded the existing Application Express (installed as part of XE) to Application Express 3.0.1 by following the instructions in the installation guide.

When I log on to INTERNAL workspace as ADMIN user it prompts me to change the ADMIN password which is fine. After I change the ADMIN password and re-logon with the new password it takes me to Application Express Administration Services and prompts me to log on again. When I re-logon as ADMIN in the Application Express Administration Services page it just refreshes the page and prompts me to log on again.

I am not sure why it is happening. (I did try installing on a XP Pro machine and it
works fine). Can anybody help please?

Regards
Steve
