Application Error - setup.exe during ODI 10.1.3.4 install on Windows 2003

Hi,

I am trying to install ODI 10.1.3.4 on Windows 2003 Server SP2, but when I double-click on the setup.bat (on setup.exe) I am getting an Application Error in setup.exe:

The instruction at "0x00400020" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

I have SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 running on RDBMS 10.2.0.4 and I need to install ODI. I have no ORACLE env variables set, just the JAVA_HOME & PATH to JDK 1.5, which I also unset as a test, but it made no difference.

In the command prompt window I can see that it passes the OS version and number of colours prereq tests, but it then hits the above error. If anyone has any suggestions then I'd be interested to know. If all else fails I can try a reboot, but as it's a remote server that I am accessing using Remote Desktop I am hoping that I don't need to do this as it doesn't always come back up.
