Application crash with Lexmark X63/ Win2000
When printing any report longer than one page,
the report printer aborts and
control does not return to Oracle Forms.
The forms application must be killed
by the task manager.
Running the reports from the report builder has the same result,
and report builder aborts after clicking OK on the MS Windows
print interface.
We are running in client/server mode. No web component.
We are using Report Backgroud Engine to run report(s)
executing following command from within oracle forms:
Run_Product(REPORTS, report_name, ASYNCHRONOUS, RUNTIME
, FILESYSTEM, [paramter list], NULL);
Report Builder 6.0.8.11.3
Lexmark X63
Computer is a brand new computer from Dell running
Win 2000 Service pack 2. Have also tested the same
printer on another computer running Win 2000 with the
same result.
Lexmark X63 through the USB port
Printer driver is the latest version from Lexmark
Is there any list of known and similar problems?
