Applet inited and notinited

843807Sep 18 2004 — edited Sep 24 2004
Hallo ,
i want some info about applets in general, first of all to the admins plz if im "out of topic" give me 24 hours to come back and see where my topic is gona be moved or what comments you have to bann/delete my topic cause that happend last time when i had another question.

Ok now to my question, some of my applets (made in jdk1.4.2_02) dont properly run in my pc. (Due to the last situation i mentioned erlier i formated my pc and now i run the jdk1.5 -the verison 5.0). Some of my applets load (the coffe-cup shows up) and then it says in the "status-bar" either notinited or inited depending on the applet.

The question what does "inited" and "notinited" mean?
Do i have to re-build/re-write the init() class? do i have an logical error in the init?
What "SHOULD" a "GOOD" init() have? just initialization? I have all the "new" and all the ".add()" in the init() should i move them to the start()? dont think so though!

thank you in advance for your help.
