Java SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition)

Okay, now this really goes too far. It seems java is no longer considered fit for the future and all the applications are to be thrown away or WTF is going here?

Can someone please give me an answer on what will be done about this as we have applications running with java and expect them to work without having to deal with childish Oracle - Apple fights all the time.
