We are experiencing significant performance degradation in our Oracle APEX 24.1.11 (Patch Version 11) production environment compared to our UAT5 environment.
In production:
- Pages that use APEX collections to populate fields are taking a long time to load.
- In some cases, the fields populated from collections appear blank after a delay.
- The overall application feels slower, and users are reporting worsening performance day by day.
In UAT5:
- The same pages and logic work much faster.
- No blank field issues are observed.
Our DB team has confirmed that the slowest pages in production are those that rely heavily on APEX collections.
We have not yet identified whether the cause is related to data volume, database configuration, APEX settings, or collection handling logic but we are not storing large data in collections.
Any guidance, tuning tips, or diagnostic steps would be greatly appreciated.
