APEX - What is the minimum network "band width" to use it?

I am planning to implement a large APEX application. An "expert" said that 128k "band width" is the minimum for 1 user. Is that true? I think that 64k (or even 32k) is enough. Would you be so kind as to share your expirience?
A comparison with FORMS 10g would be nice.
