Hi All,
APEX 4.2.5
XE 11.2
My users are complaining of intermittent poor performance. for example, they can run an APEX interactive report and retrieve the results in sub-second times.. However every now and again, they experience waits of up to 5 to 10 minutes, sometimes even longer.
here is an example below of a page performance from APEX.. the majority of the time, the user receives the response from the system in well under a second. However at the top, you see the user had to wait 152 seconds for the page to respond.
Clearly something significant is impacting the page response.. My assumption is that something else has stolen the CPU for that period of time.. (And I do know there is a CSV upload process that is very CPU intensive, and it m,ay be this...
My Question is: How can I narrow down or run a report on what else was running at the same time as this page request with the high response time was being requested. The APEX report only gives me a value of 29 hrs ago.. Ideally run a report for the exact time frame that this user waited a long time, and show me what other users, processes, or active sessions were doing along with a corresponding time.
Any ideas, or pointers, Id be most grateful.
Many Thanks
Richard
