ApEx File Caching configuration issues with ORDS 3.0.4 on Tomcat 8

merciergMar 30 2016 — edited May 16 2016

Hi All,

We would like to migrate from OHS (11.x) to ORDS (3.x) and benefit the RESTful services.

The migration works well but we encounter some difficulties with apex file caching configuration.

Context : Oracle 11gR2 - ApEx 5.0.3 - OHS 11 // ORDS 3.0.4 with Tomcat 8

With OHS, on the web page (http://<servername>/pls/apex), when we go through the application, the page rendering is fast. Static files (e.g. css, js) are cached.

When we switch to ORDS,the rendering is very slow. Static files seem to be uncached.

What i'm doing wrong or forgetting ?

Any suggestions ?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Gregory.
