APEX Collection Performace Issues

Hi All,

Oracle APEX 5.0.4

Database 12C

We have created a view in database, and we wish to populate the collection based on the view, and based on the filters selected from screen. We are using following command to populate the collection.

apex_collection.create_collection_from_query2 - takes 90 seconds in 2 Million Records

apex_collection.create_collection_from_query_b2 - takes 50+ seconds in 2 Million Records

View individually takes around 6 seconds to generate 2 Million Records. But the requirement is such that we don't want to hit the view again and again, so wish to store once in collection, and later fetch that collection for various dashboard charts.

Can anybody please point why the collection loading is so slow, and what can be alternatives?
