Apex automatically logs me out after I click quick edit on the app page

user-1z6imJun 5 2023

Greetings all,

After the last update (apex version 23.1), about a week or so ago, I started getting an array of errors on the oracle apex platform.

When I click on the quick edit on a part of the page, on the wrench in the top right corner to be precise I get the following error in a modal pop up that says: “No Template Options found.”. Then after that I either get logged out of the platform in my app builder, and I have to log in to my workspace again.

I have to provide the workspace name, the username and the password again to edit my application again.

Sometimes I get the message in my page designer after I try to quick edit the page in my application window. The error says: ""Your Session Has Ended". I think it might be related to this, I tracked it down on the oracle support page and on that page it says it is related to the ords update and that the bug started appearing as of APRIL 17, 2023. the link is to the page bellow.

These errors start appearing whenever I quick edit a part of my application that has nested sub regions inside one another, or they are within the region display selector.

I have to add that I started using apex on the oracle apex page to learn it and hopefully build out my applications in apex and use all the advantages and add-on's that come with it, I am a web developer and I wanted to explore the low code platform.

Do these bugs happen with every new release of apex or ords. Is it normal for these bugs to creep into production after every new release? Or am I doing something wrong, considering I am a beginner learning apex?

regards,

thank you for your time…
