Apex Advisor: References with Bind Variable Syntax errors

I am getting errors on queries that have a bind reference to a Page 0 item. Supposedly the item does not exist. The item does exist and the query seems to work without problems.
Is this a 'bug' in the advisor, or is referencing Page 0 Items bad practice?
