I have created an apex 5.1 application on Oracle 12c pluggable database.
I have 5 pages:
Theme: Universal Theme
page 0 : login page, LDAP configured
page 1: dashboard, with a chart and report with filter links to the interactive report on page 3
page 2: data entry form
page 3: Two interactive reports with links to detail pages.
page 4: upload pictures, display in report.
page 5 : admin page. add users form
Utilizing Apex Embedded PL/SQL Gateway
Testing with IE, Chrome and Firefox
First the login page (page 0) take a sec in IE. Chrome it loads faster.
Page 1 actually loads ok in any browser surprisingly.
Page 2 load is the worst in all browsers. (4 seconds load time ) IE still the worst. The only query on this page is the username field which uses a superlov plugin to show more than one field. Other than that it is a form to data entry. Other fields load wth &APP_USER and sysdate.
I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting, esp wrt IE loading worst that the Chrome. pluggable database or apex 5?
The user all use IE as default so I have to get it working on that .
I experimented with caching the entry form page but it didn't help much.
I did search for similar issues on the forum but did not find what was needed. Sorry in advance if this is a repeat question.
