APEX 5.1 - editable interactive grid - how to remove search bar

I need to remove the search bar. I have created my own using tools I developed in 5.0 and earlier as a workaround.

This search bar has issues and, until it can be fixed, I need to remove it.

It will blow up if there are any cascading fields or non-text fields in the editable grid.
