Apex 5.1.2 and modal dialog on iExplorer

Hello to everyone,

we have a problem with applications developed using Apex 5.1.2 and Universal Thema.

Modal Dialog don’t work properly on browser Internet Explorer prior to version 11: in particular the opening of the modal dialog pages doesn’t work. This may depend on the use of an unsupported method in the js of the theme (the error in the javascript console is: mutationobserver is undefined).

Is there a way to get around the problem and allow the modal dialog to open even with previous versions of iExplorer?
