I have a master - detail IG created, where the master ("Activities") is based on a view that includes a sum of amounts from the detail ("Commodities"). I'd like to get the master IG to refresh when a change or addition is made to the detail IG.
I've tried using a region refresh on the master on save of the detail, but a complicating factor is that because of the form of the Activities (master) query, I need to use the No Data Found bug workaround described in the post from these forums. In this situation, when I refresh the master region the page SAVING page item is not set, so the master IG query finds no records and displays an empty result.
Is there a workaround on the workaround until my organization can upgrade to a later version of Apex where this particular issue is corrected?
