DB version: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production

We have upgraded APEX 4.2 to 5.0 couple of months back and it was working fine with 5.0 version. Not sure what happened, when i try to open it throws below.

There is a problem with your environment because the Application Express files have not been loaded. Please verify that you have copied the images directory to your application server as instructed in the Installation Guide. In addition, please verify that your image prefix path is correct. Your current path is /i/ (it should contain both starting and ending forward slashes, such as the default /i/). Use the SQL script reset_image_prefix.sql if you need to change it.
We tried to executing below again but no luck:
@apex_epg_config.sql /apps/apex/apex503 looking for /apps/apex/apex503/apex/images
@apxldimg.sql /apps/apex/apex503
it suddenly stopped working with the above error.
Shall i do reinstall again by changing home name from apex503 to apex503-old and unzip all the file again and redo the installation?
Please advise. Couldnot resolve this issue.
