APEX 4, Popup LOV search field behaviour

Hi,

In APEX 4, I use a popup LOV, filter the result by typing a string in the search field and click Search. Example "pp". Search returns "Apple" as expected.

But the string "pp" is converted to upper case. Is this intentional or a bug ? In 3.2 it does not convert to uppercase.

Also if I try "pp%e" it does not return "Apple". This looks like a bug. In 3.2, this returns "Apple".

Has anyone encountered these behaviour ?
