Apex 4.0 Popup LOV does not close nor returns value

Hello,

I have just upgraded an environment from Apex 3.2 to Apex 4.0. Now I none of the Popup LOV's functions.
When I want to create a new user, I need to choose the workspace. The popup LOV appears with content, but when I click on one of the workspaces nothing happens.
I user Internet Explorer 8. When I open the popup I get a Javascript error:
