APEX 23.1 -Illogical language behavior when creating a new application in an other language

Hello,

I have tested this with 23.1 at apex.oracle.com.

When a new application is to be created, the language of the application is set in the wizard and then later also used for message texts in the APP.

But the wizard then does not use the defined language of the application, the set language in the builder will be used for all text elements in the APP not the APP language.

This is a behaviour of APEX that has been going on for a long time, but in principle it is illogical and unnecessary.

This means to create an APP in German, the user must first remember to log in to Builder in German.

However, working with the Builder in a language other than English does not make much sense, since all the information is available in English

The same effect occurs when creating a new page, the texts for buttons etc. are in the Builder language and not in the APP language.

Is this the desired behaviour or would this be an optimization for a next release?

Or is it actually a bug?

Since this is probably not so easy to fix, a message that something does not fit here with the languages would also be a sufficient solution.

What is your experience with this feature?

BR

Gunther
