We recently upgraded to 20.2 and want to use APEX collections as I believe there were known performance issues related to APEX Collections that were supposed have been fixed in 20.2.
When I tried this in one of the development environments, APEX_COLLECTION.ADD_MEMBER worked with an acceptable performance (page took about a minute to load).
However, when we migrated this to other environments, pages don't open even in 5 minutes and pages time out.
Are APEX collections so problematic? Is there anything that I need to check in particular?
I am aware that DB infrastructure, query cost, data itself etc. make a difference, but I just don't want to miss anything from APEX side.
I raised an SR, but since it is related to performance issues, SRs can't help much.
