Apex 18.2 application/workspace images not showing

Hi all,

I recently upgraded an apex site from 5.1.4 to 18.2, and the images on the apex builder, display without issues. However, application and workspace images displayed for a while (perhaps browser cache) and then stopped displaying altogether.

I took a look in chrome developer tools and came up with this.

Which states that the application image was not displayed because the request could not be mapped to a database. This confuses me because all other APEX images are displayed normally, the IDE is fine. Only application/workspace images have issues.

Are there any suggestions to resolving this?
