Client issue (SR 4-0001589020) :
Apache Ant Software with older version(1.9.15) is present on the Application server which will be unsupported by the vendor soon. We had raised SR 3-43104778071 for the same earlier as well but it was closed mentioning that it needs to be checked with Ant Vendor. However as per our DBA team as well it was not installed by any other vendor, it is Oracle EBS bundle component only visible on Application server. Please suggest the action plan to upgrade it to latest version.
we have applied the latest jan26 cpu patches , however the ant version is still not updated

If there is anything needed to be upgraded, which is EBS specific, that would be done by Oracle, and it would be shared with customers.
Same was also confirmed by Product Support Manager in an update of this SR:
"Apache Ant is not included as a standard bundled component of Oracle E-Business Suite. While some Oracle products or development tools may use Apache Ant for build automation, Oracle EBS itself does not list Apache Ant as part of its core, certified, or supported software components."

Customer has requested to reopen the SR 4-0001589020 with the following reason:
Solution did not resolve issue - As per the suggestion provided by Dawn Braegelman from Oracle team we tried to install the latest CPU patch i.e. Jan'26 CPU patch in our Non-PROD server, post patch application still the older version of *Ant.jar* files are visible on the server. Reopening the SR to provide the Fix since Latest CPU patch also didn't fixed this issue.
