Anyone using Dell R610's for DBservers with 400-500 connections

Thanks in advance for any information regards use in production environments.
Our work is on a migration from 10G R2 Solaris to 11G R2. We are also looking at the R900 servers.
P.S. there will only be 10 to 20 active conn's so not as bad as it seems.... just loads of memory open for the inactive sessions.
I've downloaded quite a few white papers from Redhat the
"Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 IO Tuning Guide" is very interesting.
And
"Oracle 10g Server on Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 5"
I know I'm going to 11g but I'm sure the section about Large Memory Optimization (HugePages) will be of help to the migration and 11G.
