We are on EBS 12.1.3 and using ADF JDEV 11.1.1.7.0 The EBS is using Oracle SSO as well.
Question: What are the steps when creating ADF Security from the jdev wizard?
Steps Completed:
1. Created AppsDataSource, and able to access data from database.
2. Created security realm with ExtAuthenticator
3. Created custom UMX roles and assigned to users / responsibilities.
4. Set the external ADF URL profile option.
5. Created enterprise roles for UMX roles.
Configured ADF application with ADF security - But Not sure about the steps in wizard.
Step 1 of 5 - Selected Option 1 - ADF Authentication and Authorization
Step 2 of 5 - Web Project - ViewController.jpr
Authentication Type - HTTP Basic Authentication
Step 3 of 5 - Enable Automatic Grants - Selected No Automatic Grants
Step 4 of 5 - Redirect Upon Successful Authentication - Not Selected
Now I am able to attach the ADF page with a ADFX function of a menu with in E-business suite responsibility. When I click on this function, it is taking me to my ADF page, but it is asking me for user name password again. Even I enter correct user name and password it asks for multiple times and then goes to error page ( Error 401--Unauthorized)
If I am not selecting any ADF Security from Jdev Security it's launching the ADF Page. the application works but without any security in this case.
Am I missing any other steps? Appreciate any responses.
