like to know have you guys bum into any issue regarding runnintg a 32bit application on a 64bit database instance 12C ?
I realize 12C 32bit database is not available but 12C client 32bit is still avaliable. Thus using a 12C 32bit client is not a problem connecting to a 64bit database instance.
Application could not scale up to 64bit so i was thinking to install the oracle client 12C 32bit to connect to the upgraded 64bit 12C database.
Like to know is that recommended? Will the application break? Cos there is obviously difference architecture.
I am also not too sure if the application can be install on a 64bit OS as i am still gathering the information.
Any advice is appreciated.
