An SQL Stmt

I have a weird thing going here.

I have a query that runs in SQL Developer in 2.5 seconds on average.

The same query when i create a page in APEX (SQL Report or Interactive report) and i try to run it takes forever ... it doesnt even execute i left it for 10 mins and nothing.

I tried to delete and recreate the app, the page several times ...

Why would a query that runs in SQL Developer in 2.5 seconds, hangs with APEX?
