hi,
i have DS 6,3 on win2003 with some servers running,as i login using admin ,it goes good, when i need to start the directory servers it asks for user name and password,as i think it should be the system admin and its password,in which i was able to login to the system correctly, but when i enter the same userid and password for the starting of directory server instances it says "AN AUTHENTICATION ERROR OCCURED CONNECTING TO THE HOST xxxxx CHECK THAT USER ID AND PASSWORD ARE CORRECT " it comes the same for creating new directory server where it asks for RUNTIME USER ID/PASSWORD.
it doesnot authenticate,as of the linux it goes good when entering the root as id and its password, can any helpme how to recover the password or any other options which can be helpfull.
