AMD64 + SDK = ?

Hello,

I'm a current Java programming student, and I have a query -

Is the Java SDK compatible with the AMD64 Processor running on a Windows Home Edition Environment?

I've run multiple searches on Google and on Java.Sun.Com, but i keep getting results about linux instead of Windows.

Your Help would be greatly appreciated.
