Alternatives to Swing

I am not quite accustomed to how Swing programming works :)

because I used to be a VC++ programmer ;)

Are there any good libraries out there that allow me to produce GUI

visually? otherwise could you please show me any useful tutorial links

that teach people how to produce GUI programmatically?

Yeah, I know, I am a bit greedy :)
