Alter table move to defrag a tablespace

Hi
I plan to use alter table move to defrag a tablespace,

the tables are to be re-orged in the same tablespace. What sort of size would I need for the temp space... I am looking at re-organising 1 tablespace with approx 1 TB of data in multiple (partitioned) tables.
If i re-org one table at a time - would the temp space be released for the next table

fyi - this is either 10gr2 or 11gr1 db...
