alter database open resetlogs upgrade ; throwing error

Recently i have cloned a database from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.3 on a new server.... I got the error as fowwos,


contents of Memory Script:
{
Alter clone database open resetlogs;
}

So i have tried


SQL> alter database open resetlogs upgrade;
alter database open resetlogs upgrade
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01139: RESETLOGS option only valid after an incomplete database recovery


SQL> alter database open upgrade;
alter database open upgrade
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery
ORA-01110: data file 1: '+DATA_CMX/cmx/datafile/system.270.788451975'


Any help ?
