alter column length at once in many tables

Hi anybody...

please help me

how do i write a sql statement to alter column length having same name in many tables at once? let say a column name xxx from varchar(50) to varchar(100) cause i have about 150 tables having this xxx column.

try to search in the net but nothing shows like correct command.
