Allow to configure SaaS to send traffic via SMTP to some other email server running outside SaaS e.g. On Prem Email Exchange server
SMTP is a wire protocol used to send emails to email servers. All the wiring of email servers is performed within SaaS and the only allowable email service is the OCI email server that comes preconfigured. A customer cannot configure SaaS to send traffic via SMTP to some other email server running outside SaaS. Even if it is added to the allowlist, SMTP traffic cannot leave the SaaS network.
