Alert log

Hello,
I have a monitoring system which need access to the oracle alert log file.
Since i dont want to assign the application user to the DBA group and give him read permission , i would like to know
if there is an option to write only the alert log ERRORS (e.g ORA-xxx) , to another file (which oracle:dba is not his owner)
